The team, with a long-standing history in international GT and sportscar racing, has been a regular presence in the GEDLICH Racing Winter Series paddock. Most recently, BWT Mücke Motorsport has been winning races in the Club class of the GT4 Winter Series, entering Thilo Goos’ Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 for the Berliner and young talent Mattis Pluschkell. It is expected that Pluschkell will once again co-drive with Goos at selected rounds of the GT Summer Series.
Speaking on the Valencia Winter Series broadcast, Team Manager Stefan Mücke said: “We and Thilo Goos decided to enter [the Aston Martin] also for the Summer Series, which is perfect! I’m expecting a good mixture between new, upcoming young talents, and gentleman drivers who want to race on good tracks with a good format.
“It’s especially good that it is open to many classes. This Aston Martin is a previous-generation GT4 car. Normally they are in storage and can’t run anymore, and here they can go out. For a gentleman driver or a rookie, it’s a cost-efficient entry into racing.”
Stefan Mücke did not rule out bringing more cars to the GT Summer Series, to further add to a busy 2026 schedule that includes ADAC GT4 Germany, Prototype Cup Europe, Le Mans Cup and historic racing.
The inaugural season of GEDLICH Racing’s GT Summer Series begins at the famed Hockenheimring from 17-19 April. GT3 and GT4 cars will be joined by single-make machinery from the world’s leading GT manufacturers, as well as a variety of other cars that fit the performance window, within the GTX and TCX classes.
