Speck, a long-time veteran of motorsport, has spent decades honing his craft in Porsche race cars, competing in everything from Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland to ADAC GT Masters. In recent years, the 66-year-old has accumulated dozens of races at the wheel of his 991.1 and 991.2 GT3 R machines, both presented by DB Motorsport in his distinctive signature yellow livery.
DB Motorsport, based in Uehlfeld, are experts in servicing, sales and preparation of classic and modern roadgoing Porsches, as well as racing models. The experienced team will be looking to take its familiar partner, Speck, to the top step of the podium in the first GT Summer Series races.
The first season of GEDLICH Racing’s new GT Summer Series will begin at Hockenheim from 17-19 April, before embarking on a tour of the region’s most exciting venues. Teams can enter any round of the GT Summer Series for €5000, encompassing 300 minutes of track time. Alternatively, a full-season entry is available for €20,000. As with GEDLICH’s Winter Series categories, the GT Summer Series will be broadcast live, with leading broadcast talent presenting the action.
