Land-Motorsport has confirmed its participation in the third round of the 2026 GT Summer Series, entering a 992-generation Porsche 911 GT3 R (Evo) for Stefan Wieninger.
The team from Niederdreisbach has been a serial race- and championship-winning squad at all levels of GT racing, including DTM, Porsche Carrera Cup, ADAC GT Masters and NLS. Additionally, Land-Motorsport crews have stood on the podium at Daytona, Dubai and the Nürburgring’s renowned 24-hour events.
Land-Motorsport is once again competing on the DTM grid in 2026, having taken a race victory during its maiden 2025 campaign.
Land and Stefan Wieninger have had a significant and successful partnership, which most-recently saw them win a vice-championship in the 2025 Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy. Having previously raced an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo2, Wieninger switched to Porsche in-tandem with Land at the start of 2026.
In recent years, Wieninger has primarily raced GT3-spec machines in German national events and Creventic endurance races. However, the 53-year-old has a much broader CV that includes production and touring car racing, most notably winning the SP3T class at the 2017 Nürburgring 24 Hours.
His new-for-2026 Porsche 911 GT3 R (Evo) should be a formidable front-runner in the GT3 AM class, where he will take on familiar adversaries such as Thomas Westarp and Hermann Speck.
Stefan Wieninger makes his GT Summer Series debut at the Nürburgring from 26-28 June. GEDLICH Racing’s newest category will once again be part of the ADAC Racing Weekend event, with full-weekend access available for just €35. The event will also be streamed in English and German on the Summer Series YouTube channel.
